Terms
Terms of reading
Last revised 2026-10-28
These terms set out what rmhbaltimore.com offers its readers, what it does not offer, and how you may use what we write. They are short because the site is simple: we publish guides, and you read them.
1. What this publication is
rmhbaltimore.com is an independent informational publication about studying in, visiting and getting around Baltimore’s university district. RMH Baltimore Editorial Guide LLC, of Charles Village, Baltimore, Maryland, publishes it. We are not a charity, not a lodging operator, not a travel agent and not a tutoring company. We are not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by Ronald McDonald House Charities, McDonald’s, or any Ronald McDonald House, and any resemblance between our name and theirs carries no connection. Nothing on this site is an offer of accommodation, transport or any other service.
2. Estimates are planning figures
The stay budget estimator and the study allocator produce planning figures from assumptions we state next to the results: typical nightly rates, approximate taxes, MTA pass prices, grocery allowances and study-hour ratios. Real prices, fares, schedules and test formats change, sometimes overnight. Before you book a room, buy a pass or register for an exam, confirm the current figure with the hotel, landlord, transit operator or testing body. A number from our planner is not a quote and does not bind anyone.
3. Study guides are not admissions or academic advice
Our LSAT and MCAT guides describe methods that have helped many students. They cannot promise a score, an admission or a scholarship, and they do not replace the official materials and rules published by the organizations that run those exams. Where a guide discusses tutors or courses, it describes what to look for; the choice and the contract are yours.
4. Seminar notes are not professional advice
Some of our seminar notes touch on pharmacology, building practice, electrical work or public health. They are written to explain ideas, not to tell you what to take, build or wire. Ask a physician or pharmacist about anything you put in your body, and hire a Maryland-licensed professional for electrical or structural work.
5. Names and trademarks
We mention products, exams, games, universities, transit services and organizations by name so readers know what we are discussing. LSAT belongs to the Law School Admission Council, MCAT to the Association of American Medical Colleges, and other names to their respective owners. Mentioning a name is not a claim of partnership, and none of those owners has reviewed our pages.
6. Quoting and sharing our work
Our text, tables, maps and planner code are the work of RMH Baltimore Editorial Guide LLC. You are welcome to link to any page, print a guide for your own study, or quote a few sentences with a credit and a link back. Please ask us before republishing a whole guide, translating one, or using the planner on another site. A short email to editorial@rmhbaltimore.com is all it takes, and we usually say yes to students, libraries and schools.
7. Responsibility
We take care to get things right and we correct mistakes when readers point them out. Even so, you decide how to use what you read here, and RMH Baltimore Editorial Guide LLC is not answerable for losses that follow from relying on a planning estimate, a timetable interval or a general method without checking it against current, official information. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under the Maryland Consumer Protection Act or any other law that cannot be set aside by agreement.
8. Maryland law
Maryland law governs these terms. If a dispute about the site cannot be settled by talking to us first, it belongs in the state courts sitting in Baltimore City, or in the federal court for the District of Maryland where that court has jurisdiction.
9. Changes and contact
We revise these terms when the site changes, and the date above tells you when that last happened. Questions go to Eleanor Vance-Sterling at editorial@rmhbaltimore.com.
